ABOUT ME
I’m Kenneth S. Legesi — an investment professional and engineer interested in the systems, institutions and practical tools that enable people and businesses to create lasting value.

MY BACKGROUND
My academic training is in civil and environmental engineering, with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. I am also a CFA charterholder. The combination shapes how I approach a challenge: understanding the physical, financial and institutional system together.
As CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Oakstone Capital (formerly Ortus Africa Capital), I work across investment research, corporate and project finance, private capital, capital-market development and infrastructure. I am interested not only in structuring capital, but in the conditions that make investment productive and sustainable.
WHAT I WORK ON
Research, valuation and investment decision-making.
Structures and institutions that broaden access to capital.
Developing bankable projects and real-economy assets.
Data, digital tools and financial-market infrastructure.
Publishing, testing and building with others.
WHY THIS SITE EXISTS
Legesi.xyz is where I share ideas worth exploring, research worth questioning and projects worth building. Some work is mature; some is exploratory. The goal is to make useful thinking visible and invite constructive collaboration.
